A huge thank you to all the members of BADMAC for a fantastic Friday night indoor flying session. It was great to see so many pilots in the air, sharing knowledge, helping each other out, and enjoying the friendly atmosphere that makes these nights so special.

The skill, sportsmanship, and passion for the hobby on display were outstanding, and it was a pleasure to be part of such a welcoming group.

We’d also like to sincerely thank everyone who has chosen to purchase their models, batteries, and accessories through Batteryland Bairnsdale. Your support means a lot to our small local business, and we’re proud to be able to support the local RC flying community in return.

We’re already looking forward to the next indoor flying night. Thanks again to everyone who attended and helped make it another excellent evening!

Proud to stand together for Dolly’s Day 2026 💙🦋

Today the team at Batteryland Bairnsdale proudly wore blue to support kindness, start conversations, and help raise awareness around bullying and mental health.

Dolly’s message is simple but powerful — be kind, speak even if your voice shakes, and look out for each other.

We believe communities are strongest when people support one another, both in business and in life. If checking in on a mate, a workmate, or a young person can make a difference, it’s always worth it.

This is ridiculous. The shire needs to get a resolution and fast

Another day of having a business on the mall/ taxi rank.
The past two weeks we’ve had two brawls, 3/4 police cars, all businesses had to lock their doors, at least 6 men fighting, it went from the taxi rank to the front of all businesses, shoppers and staff were locked in shops for their own safety
The people fighting were armed with weapons.
Another brawl a few days later, the pharmacy had to lock their doors, again for the safety of staff and customers.
Customers have stated they are not coming back to the area it is to unsafe.
I think as business owners we have a right to feel safe in our shopping precinct.
The stress and worry of the behaviour in the mall and taxi rank is becoming a major issue.
We are constantly worried about our staff’s safety and the safety of our clientele.
WHERE IS THE HELP.
WE FEEL WE ARE BEING PUSHED ASIDE.
THE CONTINUED STALLING BY AUTHORITIES IS BEYOND A JOKE.
5 YEARS OF BEGGING FOR HELP IS ENOUGH.
WE WANT ACTION.
