Elleker Running Festival – FAQ
Can I pick up someone else’s bib on Saturday?
Yes. Bring their name and proof of payment.
When and where is bib collection?
Saturday: 10 am to 12 pm at the Albany Athletics Club Rooms, North Road (Mike Biddulph Athletics Ground).
Sunday: 7 am to 8 am at Elleker Hall before the races start.
Is there bib collection before Sunday?
Yes — Saturday 10–12 at the club rooms.
Can I register on the day?
Only for the Kids Dash (1 km and 2 km).
No on‑the‑day registrations for the Half Marathon or 10 km events.
Kids Dash registrations are cash only.
Are late registrations available?
Yes — Saturday only, 10 am to 12 pm at the club rooms.
Late fee: $15 (not applied to Kids Dash).
Cash only, in person.
When is the race briefing?
A short final briefing happens 10 minutes before each race at the start line.
Full video briefings are also available online for each course.
Can I bring my own food or drinks for the drink station?
You can bring your own fuel for yourself, but we can’t accept personal items for the official aid stations.
What if it rains?
We run in normal rain.
But what if it really, really rains?
If conditions remain safe, the event continues. We’ll update Facebook early if anything changes.
What if there’s a weather warning?
If an official warning affects safety, we’ll follow emergency guidance and communicate immediately.
Is the oval wet for the finish line?
It can be soft or damp depending on the week’s weather. Expect a short grass finish.
