On this project, strict safety requirements were implemented by the council, and we ensured full compliance throughout the duration of the works.

Before commencing, all required documentation was completed and readily available on site, including SWMS, risk assessments, Take 5s, and pre-start vehicle and equipment inspections. Both hard copy and digital records were maintained, and all works were carried out in accordance with our documented procedures.

ON-CALL HYDROVAC OPERATOR

Starting with 5–6 days per month, with the potential for ongoing work.
We're looking for a reliable operator we can call on when we're booked out or working away. Someone who can jump in the truck, represent our business professionally, and get the job done safely and efficiently.

What you'll need:
MR Licence (minimum requirement)
• White Card
• Hydrovac experience preferred or willing to learn
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
• Safety-focused
• Professional attitude with clients
• Willing to look after equipment like it's your own

A bit about the role:
This isn't a clean office job.
You'll get muddy. You'll get dirty. You'll work hard.
Hydrovac work can be physically demanding, and some days you'll finish covered in mud. If you're the type of person who enjoys getting stuck in, takes pride in a hard day's work, and doesn't mind getting your hands dirty, we'd like to hear from you.

When the ground is crowded, hydrovac is the only way to go.
Today's project at the Proserpine Police Station involved trenching for a new stormwater pipe installation connecting a newly installed pit into the existing stormwater network along the main street.
With multiple underground services running through the area, including six banks of 100mm communications conduits and two power conduits beneath the footpath, conventional excavation wasn't an option.
The entire section was safely exposed using hydrovac excavation, allowing the stormwater installation to proceed while protecting critical infrastructure and eliminating the risk of service strikes.

What a week it's been at Vipervac Solutions.
Yesterday we successfully completed two ACM (Asbestos Containing Material) removals involving large damaged Telstra pits for one of our first Tier 1 clients.

These weren't straightforward jobs. Both pits required careful planning, strict asbestos management procedures, and a strong focus on safety and compliance throughout the works.
We're proud to say both removals were completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.
One of the highlights was having local homeowners come out to inspect the finished works. They told us the damaged pits had been sitting there for quite some time and were genuinely impressed with the finished result and the professionalism shown throughout the process.
