We are excited to announce completion of Stage 2 Solar at YourDC Edinburgh Data Centre. This brings site Solar capability to over 700kW, making it the largest rooftop solar array deployment by a Data Centre provider in South Australia. Key highlights include:

- 537kW of solar added bringing our total to 737kW
- Installation of nearly 1300 rooftop panels

More customers are starting to ask questions about efficiency, renewable power, and carbon emissions. Our solar capability, along with our site efficiency (PUE) of 1.35, positions us favourably in the market as being the Data Centre of choice in Adelaide.

On the first full day of operation, we saw generation approx. 400kW on what was a cloudy day here in Adelaide.

Hey Legends, on Saturday the 27th of April at 7pm I'm having an iPod Shuffle Party at the Torren Arms Hotel, upstairs as a fundraiser for Variety, The Children’s Charity, Clint and I are participating in their 4wd Challenge in May.

Clint and I became great mates over 15 odd years where we both had the amazing man Jason Januszke as our personal trainer. Jason tragically passed away almost 2 years ago now and as a nod to the legend we are called team “JJ”.

On the night we're supplying a drink on entry and finger food as well as an amazing playlist chosen by the guests!

For $100, 50 people can pick their favorite song of all time, the playlist is then played on shuffle as we party and the person who’s song gets played last wins $500!

We have a few awesome silent auction's items available too, such as a penthouse in bali for a week, Haighs basket and fantastic meals and Adelaide's best restaurants but this is mostly a chance to let your hair down, have some drinks and a good fun night with games and awesome music.

If you can't come we understand but you can still pick your favorite song and go in the chance to win the $500 bucks and bragging rights of the best song of all time.

A great night with great minds!

Yesterday we attended an energetic event where we heard from an engaging group of guest speakers including Gatik Chaujer, Dr Travis Kemp, Dr Kylie Dodsworth, and Flavia Tata Nardini at Adelaide Connected 5.0.

Discussions were anchored around the value of health and well-being and how they impact performance and leadership.

At YourDC, we strive to create a working culture that values work/life balance and well being; there was a lot of food for thought (and food in general!) and learnings that we hope to implement.

YourDC recorded a 4-point gain to our Net Promotor Score (NPS), the gold standard metric used to measure customer satisfaction and loyalty. Our 2021 NPS score of +84 is outstanding, particularly in the technology industry, where a score of +39 is considered high.

It's great to see that our customer service focus is reflected in the feedback and that we continue to grow the business through positive word-of-mouth. We won’t be resting on our laurels though and we look forward to improving our service even further over the next year.
