Happy New Year! 😃

We had the opportunity to kick start 2024 in early Jan by bringing the global Vantari VR family together at our Sydney, Australia HQ for an awesome week of team bonding and strategy.

In typical Aussie fashion, we had a great walk to Manly and Shelley Beach, played Barefoot Bowls (which certainly became competitive), spent days doing our planning for the year as a combined team and as individual departments at the Kimpton Margot Sydney and TheCommons Chippendale, and finally, an investor meet and greet to have everyone in the one room aligned on the Vantari mission.

Congratulations to the winners of both trophies at Barefoot Bowls as well as the inaugural speed run coordinated by our CTO Daniel Paull 👏

It's hard to capture all of the wonderful moments in the limited images we can attach to Facebook posts (10 to be exact), but we start by sharing photos dedicated to our team bonding and strategy, with more to come in the near future capturing our first ever Vantari Gathering.

A special thank you to Tina van Weelderen for helping coordinate our team from location to location and being a driving force of energy, Jasmine Woischuk for scorekeeping, Antonio Covelo, Kenneth Thomson and Rolando Bonilla Pauly for their amazing photography work, and Ash Lambert and Harry Dinnen for their media coverage throughout the final day events.

We are excited for a big 2024, and have already hit the ground running by showcasing at the Society for Simulation in Healthcare IMSH 2024 with our friends at SimulationCollective.

It's not everyday where Australia’s Ambassador to the United States of America and the former Prime Minister of Australia talks about your platform and its ability to revolutionise healthcare.

Thank you Austrade for having us as part of the 2023 Austrade and the Australian American Chamber of Commerce Pacific Northwest Reception in Seattle, as we had the chance to meet Ambassador Kevin Rudd and other inspiring personnel in the ecosystem.

Another great reception at this year's ANZICS ASM in Adelaide as the conference brought together 850+ delegates from Intensive Care Medicine around Australia 🇦🇺

Over 100+ clinicians, nurses, allied health personnel and representatives from leading medical device companies took the opportunity to experience our platform first hand at Booth 55 despite the packed program - a big thank you to all those who took a minute to come say hi to us and of course, staying patient for your respective turns to use our VR training platform!

A special congratulations to Cathy Lyon, Nurse Manager at Women's and Children's Health Network Paediatric Intensive Care Unit for winning our Oculus headset competition! The demand for the prize was certainly overwhelming and we were extremely grateful to everyone who entered with high hopes of taking home their very own Quest VR headset - if only we could give you all one!

Finally, a shoutout to our Adelaide team for their support throughout the event especially Namal Bambarasinghe for his expert TV handling and our BD team led by National clinical manager Tina van Weelderen for bringing it all together with the help of Jasmine Woischuk 👏

Happy Vantari Day!

Since we formally incorporated on Dec 21st 2017, we have been growing the Vantari family every year, and to recognise the hard work from each and every person on our team, we take the chance to say a big thank you on our birthday! 🎉

Shout out to Jasmine Woischuk for creating an awesome End of Year celebration with a Virtual games event and subsequent in person team bonding session for those in Sydney, as well as Antonio Covelo for creating limited edition t-shirts as prizes for the 'Vantari games' 👕 For those who couldn't make it from our team locally and internationally, we certainly missed you!

Its always important at Vantari VR to celebrate our achievements and learnings, and we hope you are all doing it after a big 2022. Thank you to all of our partners, friends, clinicians, nurses, students, educators, researchers, hospitals, universities, medical device organisations and investors who continue to support us on our journey to eliminate medical error - we wouldn't be here without you.
