Last week, Nina travelled to Spain to spend time with the Avincis team, leading a hands-on training session tailored to their needs.

Thank you to the Avincis team for the warm welcome and engaging discussions— in particular Juan Manual Ilamas Torregrosa, Ignacio Alvarez, Mar Albert, Jesus Hernandez Bravo and Enrique Blanch Sabat. It’s always rewarding to work directly with customers to see how our solutions fit into their day-to-day operations.

Liam has been in Melbourne this week visiting the incredible crew at Microflite for onsite customer training.

He has been working directly with Jamie Wheeler, Grace Goodchild, Adela Benhammouche, Kellie Gavin, Jimmy Ward and Kate Johnson at their Moorabbin Airport headquarters.

Proudly Victorian and family-owned, Microflite has grown since 2004 to become a leader in tours, charter flights, airwork, pilot training, and aircraft services. With Victoria’s largest fleet of turbine helicopters and a new fixed-wing, their iconic red aircraft is a familiar sight in Melbourne’s skies.

While in Christchurch last week, Nina and Carlos dropped by GCH Aviation for an onsite customer visit. 🚁

A huge shoutout to Felipe Franco, Aviation Safety Coordinator, Nic Mansley, Aviation Safety Manager, and Jo Bertenshaw, Scheduling Officer, for showing Nina and Carlos around their headquarters.

Widely recognised as one of New Zealand’s premier helicopter operators, GCH Aviation operate scenic and commercial helicopter flight services, certified flight training, air rescue and air ambulance operations from their many bases throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Last month, Prag visited the exceptional crew at Queensland Government Air (QG Air) for onsite customer training.

Working directly with Jamie Rogers (Administration Officer - Safety & Quality), Jon Fields (Engineering Administration Officer), Nesha Jeram (Base Coordinator) and Robyn Masters (Safety and Quality Administrator), Prag was given a glimpse of the life-saving aviation services and support QG Air delivers to the people and government of Queensland.

It’s day 2 here at RotorTech Helicopter and Uncrewed Flight Exposition and the team are having a fantastic time catching up with customers and friends in the industry, while soaking in the Gold Coast sunshine.

After 3 years, we’re pleased to return to such an exciting expo that offers a comprehensive view of the future of helicopter aviation.

The team will be back from stand 4B for the final day tomorrow.

Introducing JJ Small, our newest addition who has joined the team as CTO. With a remarkable career spanning over two decades, JJ brings a wealth of experience in developer, solution architect, and engineering leadership roles.

Previously serving as Director of Engineering at Cin7, a global tech player and New Zealand Tech Company of the Year 2023, JJ led cross-functional teams with finesse, driving architecture, security, and process optimisation initiatives for both Omni and Core products.

Outside of work, JJ is a passionate cook, always experimenting in the kitchen or perfecting dishes on the BBQ. When not culinary crafting, he’s delving into the world of mobile game development and 3D design and printing.
