Currently on the bench: a BIOS mod to bring Resizable BAR to an older ASUS gaming board that never officially supported it.
That means firmware backups, compatibility checks, and a trip back to the DOS command prompt, because one wrong flash can brick a board.
If it works, a modern GPU gets more out of hardware that would otherwise be heading for landfill.

Sometimes the smallest component makes the biggest difference.

This is the original polarising lens from a vintage Nintendo Donkey Kong Game & Watch beside its replacement. After decades of age and deterioration, the original had become heavily discoloured, affecting the appearance and visibility of the LCD.

A carefully cut replacement brings the display back to life while keeping another piece of gaming history out of landfill.
