Great to have our supply chain optimisation platform OmniOrder® featured by AgriFutures Australia evokeAg!

The digital platform combines app-based trading with face-to-face trading, using one system to manage both – it provides for inventory traceability and is unique, cost-saving and autonomous.

OmniOrder® has also been designed to integrate with other systems like accounting, ERPs, packhouse systems, graders, and retailer systems – fitting in seamlessly into a grower or wholesaler’s workflow. The software can also be pre-loaded with historical data to make forecasts more accurate.

We are seeking to engage with producers and wholesalers with turnover between $10-$50 M to participate in commercial beta field trials.

One of the best parts of working in horticulture is the PEOPLE element!

A huge box of the crispiest and freshest apples, along with sparkling and freshly squeezed apple juice, was kindly gifted to us after our meeting with Ceravolo Orchards!

The juice is made by Ashton Valley Fresh and is locally produced in their solar-powered facility in the Adelaide Hills and is as close to zero waste as possible! Also, it is truly delicious!

Today is Stop Food Waste Day!

45% of root crops, fruit and vegetables produced globally are lost or wasted each year! This horrible waste happens both within the supply chain and at the consumer level.

In Australia, we already have a number of activities to reduce our food waste. These include consumer education, investment in waste treatment infrastructure, waste diversion from the retail and commercial sector, food collection for redistribution, and research into high value uses for food waste.

At Optomni, we focus on reducing waste in the supply chain by connecting and optimising supply and demand. Supply-demand mismatches are a significant contributor to the 18-22% of waste in Australia's supply chain.
