At Waterlandschool in Purmerend, the Netherlands, the students know to turn on the Shycocan before classes start because “it is that important,” says teacher Els Noor.

Energy consumption for each device costs the school less than a eurocent an hour, and the devices work to keep both staff and children safe with their parents’ full support. Ramona’s confidence lies in the knowledge that the Shycocan’s efficacy in has been validated by Dutch national laboratory TNO. “It’s proof the school is doing everything to protect my child,” she says.

The long weekend is upon us, but the time is also ripe for seasonal affective disorder as the cold sets in.

And news of new variants hasn’t helped.

The team is using this time to check in with each other, and shore up our mental health.

We’re carving out time to be outside, catch up on sleep and allow ourselves the downtime we rarely find while we’re on the 9-5 hamster wheel.

Because work can, and should, occasionally wait.

We hope it’s a restful one with the people you love.

One of the reasons we’re passionate about supporting SMEs - which make up over 94% of Australia’s economy - is because they’re quite literally mom-and-pop shops.

Partners and friends who work together to fuel their dreams and support their families.
And a fair chunk of them are moms.

The research says motherhood amounts to working 2.5 jobs. That’s a lot of unpaid, often thankless, labour. It’s a selflessness like no other.

So here’s to the miracle workers who juggle their businesses on the side and their kids on the other hip;

Despite the pandemic,The Claridges is in its 67th year of business - a feat that speaks volumes about the strength of its visitor relationships.
