Coming Soon: ToolsOnAir Version 2026.1

We are approaching the release of just:in mac pro 2026.1, just:play pro 2026.1, and just:live pro 2026.1.

A major upcoming feature for both just:in mac pro 2026.1 and CORE I/O is OP-Atom support for Avid workflows. Our macOS-based and Linux-based recording engines will be able to create properly structured OP-Atom files for use with Avid Media Composer and Avid Interplay.

just:in mac pro 2026.1 will also include several stability improvements, workflow enhancements, and bug fixes.

The 2026.1 releases of just:in mac pro, just:play pro, and just:live pro will support AJA Driver Version 18. This will simplify deployment on current systems and address installation challenges experienced by customers using AJA 17.x drivers.

Version 2026.1 is currently targeted for release around July 1, 2026.

CORE I/O + iconik: Live Content, Immediately Visible

CORE I/O provides Iconik with an HLS preview stream during recording, allowing users to monitor incoming content directly within the familiar Iconik interface.
Alongside this live preview, CORE I/O delivers the editing proxy, growing proxy, and high-resolution file required for the complete production workflow.
For live productions, news, sports, events, and continuous recording workflows, this integration makes content available faster and saves valuable time.

Great first day at the MPTS Show!

A big thank you to the Econocom team for hosting us at their booth and for the great conversations throughout the day. We received fantastic feedback on ToolsOnAir CORE I/O as well as our macOS-based capture and playout solutions.
