What happens when photography meets music?

At Parkside Gallery, the landscapes and everyday observations of Harald Woschitz and Markus Oberndorfer meet the sounds of baroque violin (Aliona Pietrowskaja) and soprano (Katharina Linhard) in a dialogue between image, sound, and perception.

Side by Side brings together four artists of different origins, shaped by life in Vienna, with an opening programme spanning opera, contemporary music, Chinese musical references, Balkan traditions, and Persian, Kurdish, and Afghan sounds.

In SOUND / SURFACE, Denis Yashin turns physical vibrations into visual forms, letting sound, movement, and material shape the canvas.

Bringing together performance, dance, sound, and collective practice, Choreopolitics of Joy explores how bodies can challenge expectations, disrupt established norms, and imagine new ways of being together.

This evening brings Persian, Kurdish, and Afghan music, literature, and storytelling into dialogue, with live performances, shared stories, and plenty of room for exchange.

Last week, we visited Vienna Design week, Austria’s most important multidisciplinary and curated design festival 🩷

We interacted with a special guest “Two-O-Eight: Designing Voices” — a legendary radio station from Luxembourg. Saw IKEA’s installation «FRAKTA — more than just a bag», «unused matters», and a group exhibition «EVERYDAY MATTERS» that explored the role of design and materiality in shaping atmosphere and our perception of everyday life.
