𝗪𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲.

A fixed schedule can tell a building that it's 3 PM.

It can't tell it that solar radiation has increased, the facade is heating up or outdoor conditions have changed significantly since morning.

That's where integrated building automation becomes more interesting.

With NETx BMS Platform, weather and building data can be combined with functions across different systems:
• Weather data and sun position for automated shading
• A 3D building model for facade-specific blind control using our extension the Shutter Control System
• KNX, BACnet or Modbus data from HVAC and room automation
• Logic functions for project-specific control strategies
• Metering data to understand the resulting energy consumption

Instead of treating shading, HVAC and energy monitoring as isolated disciplines, the BMS can bring their data into one control environment.

That doesn't make the building magically predictive.

It gives the system integrator the information and tools to engineer control strategies that respond to what is actually happening outside and inside the building.

Smart buildings aren't created by one smart device. They're created when systems start working together.

𝗔𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗠𝗦 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗺.

Detecting a problem is only step one.

The next question is: does the information reach the right person, through the channel they actually use?

The messenger module within the NETx BMS Platform connects events inside the BMS with external notification channels.

An alarm, scheduler event or defined condition can trigger actions such as:
• Email — including formatted HTML messages
• Telegram
• SMS, voice call, and even text-to-speech phone playback (via Twilio)
• X (formerly Twitter)
• Straight to a physical printer

So a critical temperature alarm can reach a technician immediately, while a scheduled report can arrive in a structured email without someone having to log into the BMS first.

The logic remains where it belongs: centrally configured within the building-management system.

The communication channel becomes part of the automation workflow.

Because good alarm management isn't about generating more alarms.

It's about getting the right information to the right person at the right time.

But the building automation system needs the right information at the right time.

When a guest checks in, checks out or changes rooms, that information can affect much more than the front desk:
• HVAC operation
• Room availability
• Guest-room functions
• Service workflows
• Access and door-lock information

The challenge is that hotels rarely run one homogeneous technology stack.
NETx BMS Platform provides interfaces for hotel systems including Oracle OHIP, Fidelio/Opera, Protel, Sihot, Mews, RMS Cloud, CharPMS, Infor and VHP, alongside door-lock integrations such as Salto, dormakaba and VingCard.

Relevant PMS and access-system data can then be brought into the same building-management environment as KNX, BACnet, Modbus and the room automation itself.

For the system integrator, that means fewer isolated systems and one integration layer for building-level workflows.

For the hotel, it means technology that reacts to what is actually happening in the room.

That's what hospitality integration should do: connect operational events with building automation.

For system integrators managing dozens of building automation installations, the difficult part isn't commissioning the first site.

It's supporting all of them afterwards.

The 𝗡𝗘𝗧𝘅 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹 gives you one central view of your NETx BMS Platform and Multi Protocol Server installations:

• Server and service status
• Database, Web Manager, Web Server and Reporting Server status
• Uptime and license information
• Remote backup creation and download
• Geographic overview of registered installations
• Remote access to connected systems

The important part from an engineering perspective:
The local NETx server establishes a secure tunnel to the Cloud Portal. That means remote access can work even when the installation is behind a firewall or has no public IP address, without exposing the BMS through conventional inbound port forwarding.

For day-to-day support, that changes the economics considerably.

You can diagnose first and travel only when the problem actually requires someone on-site.

Less time reaching the building. More time solving the problem.

Anyone who has commissioned DALI emergency lighting over KNX knows the problem:

The DALI functions may be standardized. The KNX objects exposed by the gateways often aren't.

Different manufacturers use different communication objects, status structures and mappings for test commands and results. And suddenly, a supposedly standard function turns into another integration task.

That's exactly where NETx LaMPS comes in.
LaMPS creates a consistent management layer for supported KNX/DALI gateways, allowing you to:

• Trigger and manage emergency-lighting tests
• Evaluate test results and fault states centrally

Access is role-based, so everyone gets exactly what they need:
• Viewers can keep an eye on status information
• Administrators can start tests, switch lights, and reset counters

Just one more way we're making it simpler to manage your whole building from one place.

Using the BACnet standard, this bi-directional integration lets building owners manage and monitor Casambi lighting alongside their full automation system — scenes, energy dashboards, and more, all in one interface.
