Did Ukraine just unplug Russia’s propaganda bots? 👀
After drone strikes hit three Yandex data centers, people claimed accounts posting pro-MAGA and anti-Ukraine content had gone quiet. A Cloudflare chart did show Yandex’s bot traffic plunging but it measures automated visits to websites, including search crawlers. It doesn’t count social-media posts.
The outages are real. Whether they silenced a propaganda operation is still an open question.
