The Ludum Dare game jam is always but, but the theme is always terrible. This time it was "Ancient Technology" and I came up with this little stinker in 48 hours (18 of which were spent trying to come with an idea).

Now it's finished (well, relatively) and you can play my entry "6210 B.C." it here:

The idea in 6210 B.C. is to gather enough resources for your civilization to develop new technologies that help your gathering progress.

What I got is the gathering phase with two technology levels.

The first and earliest prototype there is to a game I just started about exploration and mystery on the moon, titled “Sea of Tranquility” (working title).

For this I finally started getting to grips with Unity and setup a 6-wheeler moon buggy, currently with Earth's gravity because Fahrvergnügen.

Let's see where this'll lead us. Don't get attached to this, it will most likely change and should merely provide you with a taste of the mood and setting.
