Learning and building things have always been my biggest passion, and engineering is the tool that lets me do both." Haneen is a Senior Full Stack Engineer on our AI Observability team. 👩‍💻 She joined Dynatrace six years ago as a part-time Software Engineer while studying for her master's in autonomous systems and robotics.

Never one to stand still, she has moved from one frontier of our product to the next: Kubernetes on our latest platform generation, a master thesis with the research team, a value creation team, platform search, and now AI Observability.

None of these moves happened by chance. "You have to go and say, 'I want this,'" she says. But she never had to do it alone. When she decided to relocate from Klagenfurt to Vienna and applied to AI Observability, her team captain supported her through the transition, shared feedback with her new manager, and pushed for her promotion to senior, even though it meant losing her from his team.

Today, she builds the experience that devs, data scientists, and DevOps teams use to monitor their AI workloads, from prompts and evaluations to the health of their AI services.

AI moves fast, so her team ships continuously, gets ideas into customers' hands early, and adapts based on what they learn. Engineers talk directly with solution engineers, support, and product managers about what customers love, what needs fixing, and what they expect next.

"It makes me feel fulfilled that I'm working on something where I feel the impact and help shape the ideas for it, not just working on something for the sake of it."

In a field that "changes every five seconds," she learns on the job every day. "That's the good thing for me at Dynatrace: I don't work on legacy systems. It's always the new thing."

Meet David, Commercial Account Executive at Dynatrace. After earning his first President's Club this summer, he decided he was ready for the next step. This October, he's moving into an Enterprise Account Executive role. 🚀

Five years ago, David joined us as a Senior SDR, which was his first exposure to observability. Two and a half years of prospecting taught him the thing he still leans on hardest:

"Being an SDR teaches you how to ask the right questions, actively listen, and uncover real pain points. That’s something I still use today."

Then he moved into an Account Executive role on a Commercial team. He describes it as the role that let him prove revenue impact for the first time and a life-changing step in his life.

The year that followed took him past quota and to his first President's Club. It wasn't one deal that made the difference. It was how he builds trust with multiple customers.

"My point of view is to act as an observability consultant. They don't see me as someone trying to sell them a product. They see me as a partner who helps them understand challenges, discover opportunities, and make better decisions."

His advice to anyone weighing up a sales role at Dynatrace:

"The opportunity right now is enormous. Businesses are becoming increasingly digital and AI-driven, and the need for advanced observability has never been greater. What makes Dynatrace unique is its ability to help companies understand their data like never before, so they can move faster and make better decisions."

50+ new Dynatracers. Two cities. One bootcamp. 🚀

This August, new Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and other Dynatracers in sales from around the world met in Detroit and Boston to build on their foundational knowledge of through hands-on practice and real scenarios.

Bootcamp is just one part of our sales onboarding journey. An e-learning program and regular check-ins keep all new sellers supported, so they can jump in with confidence.

Innovation starts earlier than most people think. 🌱 This August, we opened DynaSprouts, our bilingual nursery and kindergarten at the Dynatrace Engineering HQ in Linz, Austria.

Up to 90 children, aged 6 months to 6 years, will learn through a program that brings Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) to life. They build, experiment, and discover their way through a lab, a workshop, a child-sized kitchen, a bouldering wall, sky swings, barefoot paths, and quiet rooms to wind down in.

Our success has always come from the people on our team. Supporting them and investing in our community is how we stay ahead. For children, a place like this sparks the curiosity that drives innovation. For parents, it's a new level of flexibility that makes it much easier to combine parenthood and work.

Our Summer '26 interns absolutely delivered. 👏

Across the US and Europe, 170 interns joined us out of 4,200 applicants and dove into engineering, solution engineering, sales enablement, data and analytics, go-to-market campaigns, digital marketing, workplace experience, investor relations, and more. Real projects, real challenges, real impact.

For many, this wasn't their first summer with us—and for some, the end of the internship isn't a goodbye at all, because they're staying on part-time alongside their studies.

To every intern around the globe, whether you've already finished or are heading into your final weeks: thank you for showing up with so much passion and commitment.

Hi, I'm Cole. I've been in sales at Dynatrace for four years. This has been the most influential part of my career. Here's why.

Recently, I was promoted from Strategic Account Executive to Regional Sales Director. 🚀 But my first year was hard — and it was hard for one reason. Everything was new. I came from an enterprise hardware, software resale, and consulting background, so I had to learn a completely new kind of customer and get deep enough into the technology to actually win deals.

But Dynatrace sets you up to do exactly that: sales coaches on the enablement team, a full enablement library, and more. You can learn as much as you want. 🧑‍💻 The result: building lasting partnerships with customers and closing deals that changed both my career and their companies.

The biggest reason I've stayed is our leadership team. They've been generous with their time and experience, helping me strategize through a deal long before it closes. They hold you to a high bar, but if you come prepared and seek them out, they show up ready to row the boat with you.

Our sales engineers and customer success teams are just as great. Everyone wants to help, everyone wants to win, and I learn something from them every day. That collaboration is one of my favorite parts of the job.

As a vendor, you're only as good as your product, and our build-first mentality sets us apart in the market. Our platform is genuinely fantastic, which makes the pitch easy.

Recruiters can usually tell when a CV is fully written by AI. The problem isn't the AI — it's that we don't get to know you. 🧑‍💻

Our tech recruiter Armina says AI-written job applications have a certain rhythm to them — the same structure, the same buzzwords, the same energy. After a few hundred CVs, the pattern is hard to miss.

Her take: When working on your job application, use AI to sort through your thoughts or get unstuck. That part's genuinely useful. But think it through and write the content yourself, so the application actually reflects you.
