My vibrant, expressive work blends culture, memory, and intuition—often inspired by the world of wine. I was born in Belgium and raised across Germany and the United States, in a multilingual, multicultural family. From a young age, creativity has been my way of exploring and expressing the world around me. I began drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil and received early training at the Roos Ar
t School in Ahrweiler. That spark never left me. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong artistic voice rooted in expressive color, abstract forms, and emotional depth. My work is often inspired by the world of wine – a world I know intimately through years of experience with vineyards, wineries, and international wine culture. I paint on canvas, wood, and sometimes directly onto the materials of that world: I’ve painted wine barrels, designed wine labels, created brand logos, and turned old wine crate lids into vivid, textured pieces of art. I also create commissioned pieces for private clients, always striving to translate a mood, a memory, or a story into color and form. I work with acrylics, ink, graphite, wax, and mixed media – using brushes, spatulas, pens, and sometimes even my hands. Many of my pieces feature energetic, spontaneous marks combined with subtle details and layered textures. Whether on a traditional canvas or the lid of a wine crate, each piece is a dialogue between material, memory, and movement. My multicultural upbringing, combined with a deep connection to the wine world and a passion for visual storytelling, shapes everything I create. Through my art, I invite you to experience color as emotion, form as rhythm, and surfaces as stories.
