How much noise do we simply tune out in our cities?

Two weeks ago, we polled our community about urban living conditions: Roughly how many Europeans are exposed to harmful transport noise?

Here is how you voted across our platforms:
• More than 1 in 5: 64%
• 1 in 10: 30%
• More than 1 in 2: 6%
• 1 in 20: 0%

The majority was spot on! Data from the European Environment Agency reveals that over 20% of Europeans live with road, rail, and air traffic noise exceeding safe EU thresholds. This continuous exposure is linked to sleep disruption, heightened stress, and long-term health risks.

🌱 12 weeks of learning, sharing and growing with the ECOPRISE Course in Serbia!

Delivered in two rounds, the free and certified ECOPRISE Course brought together participants interested in green social entrepreneurship, ecovillages, sustainable development and green practices.

The learning journey combined online learning and module assessments with interactive online sessions, international panels, inspiring case studies and local study visits. 🌍

The course offered participants an opportunity not only to gain new knowledge, but also to explore real-life examples, exchange experiences and discover innovative approaches to building more sustainable and regenerative communities and businesses.
