It's that time of year again! The Hagenberg Game Jam is back after one year of hiatus. This year, 11 teams with 45 participants are combining their creative energy to develop games in just 36 hours! Each game is inspired by this year's theme, "Good at being bad; bad at being good". And regardless whether you've been bad or good, these games will be available to you for free on our game jam website over the holiday break:

It's that time of year again! And not even a global pandemic can keep students, graduates and friends of the FH Oberösterreich Campus Hagenberg from making games! The Hagenberg Game Jam 2020 will start this evening at 6pm. Participants will then have 48 hours to develop a game based on this year's theme, which will be officially announced today at 5:30pm.

Due to Covid19, this year's game jam will not be held in the university's computer labs, but will be distributed amongst the homes and residences of our participants. Seven teams with a total of 26 creative artists and developers will be busy all weekend building games for everyone to play during the holiday break. The games will be available online at https://hagenberg-gamejam.at/

Stay tuned for frequent updates and feel free to join us during the online kickoff event!

After some delay caused by illness (yes, that usually happens at the most inappropriate times), we can finally present you the 11 games of Hagenberg Game Jam 2019.

You'll also find a completely redesigned website and we hope that the awesome creations are now even better showcased.

So, check out the games, give your favorite one(s) a like, so we can determine the people's choice winner. While you're on it, our jury will do the same and see which game they found most convincing.

On December 14th and 15th, 2019, 11 teams came together for 36 hours to create games for the Hagenberg Game Jam 2019.

This year's topic was "2 Minutes to Midnight" and these are the 11 games, that were guided by this theme. You can download and play them at https://hagenberg-gamejam.at/2019/.

Now it's your turn: Vote for your favorite game by liking their respective picture. The game with the most likes/loves/hahas/wows/sads or even angries will win this year's people's choice award. At the same time our jury will also play the games to determine the jury award winner.

Voting ends January 19th, 2020 at 23:59 CET/UTC+1.
