Loutd - All-in-One Digital High End Speaker
made in Austria

2018: The Problem
Jürgen, a lifelong audio enthusiast, needed a new HiFi system but couldn't find one that met his standards and was user-friendly at a reasonable price. So, he teamed up with Stefan to turn their idea into reality.

2019: Designing the Future
They began by crafting a substantial, all-in-one design with an elliptical shape. The challenge was making it affordable, and they started with fiberglass prototypes and their One.Click concept.

2020: The Big Leap
With the casing design in place, they focused on the technical heart of the system, with new allies (Robert and Holger) joining. A game-changing supplier partnership revolutionized their software and hardware architecture, introducing a groundbreaking room correction feature.

2021: Precision, Testing, Programming, Repeat
Striving for the target price, they replaced the fiberglass casing with an innovative "Mulitlayer-Polymer-Monocoque" solution, balancing strength, lightweight construction, and cost.

2022: musegg® for All
The development reached its final phase, and Loutd was unveiled at trade shows, gathering substantial feedback.

2023: Loutd is Here
The world was ready for musegg®.

17/09/2026

We are at the Süddeutsche HiFi-Tage in Stuttgart.

September 19 and 20, Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport.

Five days after the launch, this is the first chance to hear it in person. New app, new LOUTD/OS, Qobuz and Roon running on musegg®.

Bring your taste.

Saturday 10 to 18, Sunday 10 to 16. Tickets at the door or in advance.

The room is the same. The object is the same. Everything else has changed.

Today we are releasing three things at once.

A new website. Configuration, sound philosophy and service, finally in one place. The configurator stays, redesigned.

A new mobile app. Rebuilt from the ground up, around fast access to your sources and sound profiles, and setting the system up in your room.

And LOUTD/OS, the software behind the sound. It runs the signal processing, the room adaptation through HoRooc, and the modular One.Click electronics. This release is what makes the next part possible.

Because musegg® now speaks to two worlds it did not speak to before.

Qobuz brings a studio-quality catalogue straight to the speaker, with no device in between.

Roon brings order. Being Roon Ready means musegg® is discovered by Roon on your network without any setup, and receives bit-perfect audio directly from it.

Two guests. Both now at home.
