One morning. One cruise terminal. 3,000 guests checking in within one hour.

That’s the reality of a turnaround day – and passenger access has to keep up.

At SMM Hamburg we're showing the SKIDATA sMove Mobile Kit together with ASSA ABLOY Marine.

Temporary access control you place exactly where the queue forms:

- Up to 700 guests per hour through a single lane
- The boarding pass on their phone opens the gate. So does a cabin card.
- A passage wide enough for luggage, strollers and wheelchairs
- Runs on battery, no power connection, no interruption when a battery is swapped
- Set up in minutes, moved when the operation changes

For most guests the cruise begins in the car park, not at the gangway.

They park. They check in. They board.

SKIDATA connects parking and passenger access in one system. Most providers cover one end or the other. SKIDATA covers both.

Come meet SKIDATA and ASSA ABLOY Marine and walk through a lane yourself.

Ask someone in Levi how late it is, and the answer might surprise you:

"It's bike time."

The camouflage is slowly coming off. Right now in Levi, Finland, riders are accessing the bike park with nothing but an Apple Watch.

No ticket, no card, no phone. Just your wrist.

What started as a Swatch experiment in the 80s is about to come full circle. Nearly 50 years of SKIDATA, and the skipass is back on your watch.

(Told you to watch out.)

200,000 m² of adventure. Even the entrance looks like it belongs there.

At IKUNA Naturresort in Austria, families can explore more than 100 adventure stations, indoor experiences and much more.

And getting there should feel just as easy as the day ahead feels exciting.

Visitors can buy their tickets online, book parking and keep their ticket on their smartphone.

They arrive, park and head for their next adventure.

Need another ticket on site? SKIDATA skiosk® brings ticket self-service directly to the visitor.
Then comes the entrance.

IKUNA is the first customer to use the new Door.Gate Expression, combining ASSA ABLOY speedgate technology with SKIDATA access control and software. With IKUNA branding integrated into the gate itself, access becomes part of the park’s visual experience rather than a generic checkpoint.

And once visitors are inside, the technology moves into the background while the fun takes over.

Behind this journey is a flexible SKIDATA approach that is open for integration. SKIDATA connects with 300+ ticketing systems worldwide, allowing attraction and theme park operators to work with the ticketing partners and services that fit their business.

Buy. Arrive. Park. Choose. Enter. Enjoy.

Different systems and partners behind the scenes - one connected experience for the visitor.

Theme parks create extraordinary worlds. The experience starts at the gate.

At IAAPA Expo Europe in London, we’re excited to welcome you to the SKIDATA booth S5023 and show what’s next for guest access.

Taking center stage: SKIDATA's sMove gate.

Its distinctive design brings smooth, secure entry together with the kind of guest experience modern attractions expect from the very first step.

And great access goes beyond the gate.

See how SKIDATA connects the different parts of entry:

- Integrate with your preferred ticketing partners
- Give guests easy access to tickets on mobile or via self-service kiosks
- Keep visitors moving with modern access solutions built for smooth flow

Different attractions. Different requirements. One flexible approach that helps you create an entrance experience worthy of what awaits inside.

Your stadium is already telling you where the pressure is building. Can you see it in time?

A ticket scan takes less than a second.

But thousands of scans create something far more valuable: a live view of what is happening at your entrances.

With real-time access data, stadium teams can see:

• how quickly the venue is filling
• which entrances are under pressure
• where ticket rejections are increasing
• when staff or mobile validators need to move

That means decisions can happen before a queue becomes a problem.

At Sunderland AFC, SKIDATA’s dynamic stadium map helps teams monitor fill and flow rates on matchday. At Toulouse Stadium, live attendance data helps teams react to actual arrival patterns and move mobile validators where they are needed.

For venue operators, IT teams and executives, access data is no longer just reporting.
It is operational intelligence.

Plan. Monitor. Act. Review. Improve.

See how SKIDATA turns every scan into information your team can act on.

Software updates for your parking system? That shouldn’t become an IT project of its own.

We’re all used to it from Microsoft and similar platforms: updates arrive regularly, securely, and with minimal effort.

Why should parking systems be any different?

With SKIDATA Digital Software Delivery, software updates are transferred securely and directly to the on-site system. Downloads run in the background, while installation can be scheduled with full control.

The result:

• up to 50% less downtime
• current security updates and features
• improved system stability
• less manual effort for your team

Combined with Mobility Suite as a Service (MSaaS), the process becomes even simpler. New features, security improvements, and cloud services are provided continuously.

No lengthy preparation for every update. No major update project.

Your parking solution stays current, secure, and available while your team focuses on daily operations.

Ready to make software updates simpler? Talk to your SKIDATA representative.

BTW, when was the last time you updated your parking software? If you have to think about the answer, it may already be time.

Parking is better when drivers barely have to think about it.

No ticket to pull.
No ticket to lose.
No unnecessary stop at the exit.

With license plate recognition (LPR), drivers can simply enter, park and choose how they want to pay – at the machine, digitally or, depending on the setup, later.

That makes a difference for operators too.

Fewer ticket-related issues. Less equipment at entry and exit. And more flexibility when a parking site changes or grows.

For smaller sites, that can be particularly interesting: start with what you actually need, then add further payment options, cameras or other services when they make sense.

The point isn’t to add more technology to parking.

It’s to make parking feel simpler for the driver and easier to run for the operator.

That’s where ticketless and barrierless parking gets interesting.

Your next lease renewal may already be taking shape in the car park.

A driver passing the same full row for the third time, while the sign still promises spaces available. A parking validation that fails at the till. A queue at the exit on the busiest Saturday of the year.

Shoppers feel it.
Tenants feel it.
Landlords eventually do too.

None of it stops at the barrier. It becomes work inside the shop, where staff explain parking rules and reissue discounts that should have worked on their own.

It runs the other way just as well: guidance that holds up on peak days, benefits that apply without a redemption step, and reporting that shows when the property is under pressure, which tenant-funded benefits get redeemed, and where the same friction keeps coming back.

Parking alone rarely decides a renewal. It just keeps showing up in the evidence.

The Lease Renewal Starts in the Car Park.

Parking systems do not get weekends off. Neither does great service.

Best in Parking Italia operates more than 30 parking facilities across 20+ Italian cities, with capacity for around 12,500 vehicles.

At this scale, system availability is essential for residents, commuters, visitors, and parking teams.

That is why Best in Parking Italia relies on SKIDATA as a long-term service partner.

Across Italy, our service teams provide:

• SLA-based priority support
• Assistance on weekends and holidays
• Advanced hardware and software troubleshooting
• Proactive replacement of critical infrastructure
• Regular http://Parking.Logic updates
• Support for payments, reservations, reporting, and connected services

The goal is simple: prevent interruptions, respond quickly, and protect daily operations across every location.
But service quality is not defined by a contract alone.

It comes from people who understand the urgency of an incident, take responsibility, and stay close to the customer as operational needs change.

For Stefano Servadei at Best in Parking Italia, the availability, professionalism, and flexibility of the SKIDATA Italy team provide confidence that the entire parking network is well supported.

Technology may start a partnership.
Reliable service is what makes it last.
