🎓 Why study at university if AI is going to change the jobs we’re preparing for?

📝 And if you’re considering applying to a university abroad, what can actually make your application stand out?

We discussed these questions and more last week at the Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia with Diana Sarkisova, Product Manager and UCL graduate.

We also met a new group of talented students, connected with them, and had the chance to introduce them to the IT Association of Armenia 🌐 and the jobs.ita.am platform.

🎓 This week, we brought together AUA students for a practical workshop on starting a career in tech.

Led by Arsen Grigoryan, ITA co-founder and HR Business Partner at QIC Digital Hub, the session focused on one key message: a degree is just the beginning — employers want to see what you can do.

We explored how to turn projects, hackathons, and university activities into meaningful experience, showcase your achievements, strengthen your CV and LinkedIn profile, and find your first internship or job. And of course we talked about the jobs.ita.am platform.

​🎓 Այս շաբաթ Հայաստանյան Ամերիկյան Համալսարանի (ՀԱՀ) ուսանողներին համախմբեցինք գործնական սեմինարի շուրջ՝ նվիրված ՏՏ ոլորտում կարիերա սկսելուն։
​ITA-ի համահիմնադիր և QIC Digital Hub-ի HR բիզնես գործընկեր Արսեն Գրիգորյանի ղեկավարությամբ հանդիպման առանցքային միտքը հետևյալն էր․ դիպլոմը միայն սկիզբն է, գործատուներն ուզում են տեսնել, թե կոնկրետ ինչ կարող եք անել դուք։

Երկու backend ծրագրավորող․ մեկը ամսական վաստակում է մինչև 500 դոլար, մյուսը՝ ավելի քան 5,000 դոլար։ Նույն պաշտոնը, բայց իրականությունը՝ կտրուկ տարբեր։

Մասնակիցների 60%-ը մտածում է աշխատանքը փոխելու մասին կամ դեռ չի կողմնորոշվել։ Միայն 10-ից 4-ն են վստահ, որ կմնան իրենց ներկայիս ընկերությունում։
