Armenia Temporary & Permanent Residence
Residency for Investors & Business Owners
Foreigners investing in the Armenian economy may qualify for one of the following residence permits:
Special residence permit, issued in the form of a passport and --valid for 10 years
Permanent residence permit, issued in the form of a card and valid for 5 years.
Temporary residence permit, issued in the form of a card and valid for 1 year
Residence Permit
Temporary (Short-Term)-1 year,extendable-Government Fees-AMD-105,000(US$ 221)
Permanent (Long-Term)-5 years, extendable-AMD 140,000-(US$ 294)
Special Passport-10 years, extendable-AMD 150,000

The immigration authorities (Police and National Security Service) will consider the nature of the investment, its size, location, creation of jobs, your nationality and other factors in deciding whether you qualify for a residence permit.
Residency for Students & Workers
Students enrolled in Armenian schools and universities generally get temporary residence permits that are valid for up to one year and can be extended.
Foreign workers can get a temporary (one-year) residence permit on the basis of an employment agreement signed with the Armenian employer. Working without a residence permit may result in penalties for the employer and visa revocation.
The residence permit can be canceled if the student or the employee is terminated by the school/university or the employer.Residency for Students & Workers
