Recently React 18 update came out and you can find these updates`

1. Updates to Client Rendering APIs

React 18 introduces a new root API which provides better ergonomics for managing roots. The new root API also enables the new concurrent renderer, which allows you to opt-into concurrent features.

2. Updates to TypeScript definitions
If your project uses TypeScript, you will need to update your /react and /react-dom dependencies to the latest versions. The new types are safer and catch issues that used to be ignored by the type checker. The most notable change is that the children prop now needs to be listed explicitly when defining props.

3. Automatic Batching

React 18 adds out-of-the-box performance improvements by doing more batching by default. Batching is when React groups multiple state updates into a single re-render for better performance. Before React 18, we only batched updates inside React event handlers. Updates inside of promises, setTimeout, native event handlers, or any other event were not batched in React by default:

Payment service provider Visa has launched a ‘Creator Program”—aimed at educating small entrepreneurs to understand and leverage non-fungible-tokens (NFTs) to expand their businesses further. According to Visa, its new program will help digital-first artists, musicians, fashion designers, and filmmakers strengthen their small businesses using non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to navigate through the new category of commerce.

the company aims to help creators navigate the technology behind NFTs and be able to better understand what value it can unlock for digital ownership and monetization of creative assets, making it more accessible,” the company said in its press release.

The program will select few creators, mentor them with Visa’s team of crypto product and strategy leaders, and cover topics including evaluating tradeoffs between underlying blockchain networks, smart contracts, and NFT marketplaces.

On Tuesday the creators behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection, Yuga Labs, announced a new valuation of $4 billion after raising $450 million to create a metaverse.
Bored Ape Yacht Club became famous as an NFT collection, a set of 10,000 apes designed to be used as profile pictures. After launching last April for around $200 each, the cheapest Bored Ape currently listed on NFT marketplace OpenSea is $300,000.

Yuga Labs' biggest recent move has been the launch of Ape Coin, its own cryptocurrency. It was a big moment for Bored Ape Yacht Club owners. In a sign of the insanity of Web3, people who own Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs received 10,094 free Ape Coin tokens -- a donation currently worth about $118,000 per Ape.

Yuga Labs CEO Nicole Muniz told that it's teaming up with several game studios to develop The Otherside's world. Otherside will be "a metaverse that makes all other metaverses obsolete," according to the aforementioned pitch deck.

Binance is trying to escalate the trading of meme-based Shiba Inu cryptocurrency on its platform, which is one of the world's largest crypto exchanges. The company is giving away $80,000 worth of SHIB tokens on a first-come-first-serve basis to new users registering on its platform. Existing users who have traded a total of 1,000 Tether tokens can also qualify in sharing a SHIB token prize pool worth $20,000.

Users on Binance will have to complete their know-your-customer (KYC) formalities before participating in the giveaway, as per the official announcement.

In order to withdraw the free SHIB tokens, users are required to reach a mining trading volume of 50 Tethers (USDT), including sales and purchases.

Registrations for this giveaway will close on March 21.

Trello today unveiled several new features to its platform designed to help users better track and prioritize their work. The move comes a year after the work management tool overhauled its platform and introduced Trello views, which allow users to manage their work beyond the standard board format.

Trello said it's extending the reach of views even further so users can manage work across multiple boards in one place through Workspace Calendar and Workspace Table views. The company also rolled out Dashcards, an individual card that allows users to track multiple other cards, all in one place.

𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐬

The new Workspace Calendar view pulls information from multiple boards into one calendar, allowing for better oversight of a team’s work. By highlighting due dates and mapping out tasks on a time horizon, users can better keep project scheduling on track and identify conflicts ahead of time.

Users can create filters for custom sets of data across their Workspace for any tasks they want to track — “all my cards,” “all cards that are overdue,” “all cards with a ‘blocked’ label,” for example. The number of cards that match the filter will show up on the Dashcard, which updates automatically as the count changes. By clicking on the Dashcard, users see all of the cards that match the filter.
