Important improvement in Dynamic Endpoints.

Adding more security is never enough, by adding an authentication layer in the Dynamic Endpoints, it can give you the ultimate security on this channel when it comes to exchanging sensitive information with third parties.

You can add JWT authentication on Dynamic Endpoint level, and also each endpoint can have different key/secret or you can disable authentication on some and have it on some other endpoints, you can have the flexibility you need in every layer of your flow.

Important improvement on forms.

There are cases when you just want to capture form data in the workflow and use them as per your needs, and you do not want to have a dynamic response to that specific form, for handling this case a new option is added in the form listener, this new option would define if you want to override the default response of the form or not, if not, the default response would be used and form wont wait for a dynamic response from workflow.

Another important addition is done in the Form Response action, a new option is added as the Form Error. You can send a dynamic form response as an error message to your end client which is submitting the form. This option is very useful when you want to match the data coming from the form with whatever data you have in your Flexie entities, and based on this match, you can send a success or error response.

A new SMS channel was added natively in Flexie. There are countries where SMS is not a problem, and Twilio is just a very simple solution to go with, but there are other countries where SMS is a bit complicated, and then you may want native channels, like a SIM box for SMS for example.

Just because of this, we added GoIP SMS Server as a channel for 2-way SMS.

For all of you not knowing what GoIP is.... Its a SIM box, where you put one or more SIM cards, and then you are able to call in and out and also send and receive SMS.

GoIP is a really great solution when you need local phone numbers, and costs are a concern due to massive amount of SMS and Calls.

P.S - Enterprise is more and more local, not liking cloud a lot, thats why we have adapted Flexie CRM for both on-prem and cloud.

A new trigger is added in the listeners section.

Lead Converted

This trigger is very useful when you have too many data in leads and when you convert the lead into a contact, you do not want to put a copy of the full data from lead. Instead you may distribute this data into many other entities, for example you can create an account from the leads data.

There could be other scenarios when you can automatically add an order or a deal from the leads data right after it gets converted in a contact, options are really endless.

Accessing those lead data it's straightforward, they would just be an enriched section of the workflow, accessing it to __data variable.

Clean, simple and functional.

So we launched the chat platform within Flexie, which is marking the start of a whole new set of channels of communications between team members, customers and partners.

The core is done and launched, in the next few weeks, the following would be added to the platform:

1. Detailed permissions
2. Context and mentions for any records in channels and direct messages.
3. Full listeners in workflow for mentions, saved messages, pinned messages, and channel creation.
4. External chat widget to place on any website
5. External message routing rules on workflow
6. ReadOnly and normal channels as widgets in dashboard
7. Invitation to public or private channels of outside-of-flexie people such as your partners or customers.

We are also looking on the option to have WhatsApp as an external channel.

Next to come would be also the mobile and desktop version. Once the mobile app would be done, it would be very useful for notifications and position tracking in case you would want that.

Here at Flexie, the challenge all time has been how to lower cost of great technology so that it could be usable and affordable for the small and very small business.

If you see today, having a software with automation capabilities can cost a lot, and often its not affordable from everyone... the math simply does not work in this case.

Breaking changes in Notes, coming next week. We are removing the static note type, and replacing it with dynamic categories you can add as per your needs.

Subsequently, if you have any workflow listeners on new notes, filtering by type, you'd have to update it with the category some time next week.

In the __data.last_note variable, type is replaced with category, so you can get it on __data.last_note.category

The date-time of the note would also be removed as it turned out to not be much of use.
