The purpose of this Special Education Seminar is to promote disability awareness and acceptance in the classroom and school community. We will provide information, training, activities, and resources identified under the IDEA. Collaborate with staff to develop and present disability awareness training Assist schools in developing a knowledge base and/or instructional program for a student with a disability who may be new to the building Provide information for successful communication between schools and families of students with disabilities
