A truck bomb exploded in Kabul, Afghanistan, near the German embassy at about 08:25 local time (03:55 GMT) damaging several buildings including Azizi Bank Headquarters. InteracTech Solutions was informed at around 10:00 PM and the technical team arrived in the bank at 10:30 PM. The datacenter was completely damaged. The racks were under heavy debris. InteracTech Solutions team along with the technical team of Azizi Bank made it reconnect the network by 2:30 AM and get all the branches and ATMs up and running temporarily. The complete network infrastructure and Datacenter of the bank were redesigned and developed in 35 days. The technicality and efforts of our team were proven both to our group and the bank. AfPay, Afghanistan's Domestic Card Scheme's inauguration was going to be held in Serina Hotel in 5 days. BPC, Russia was the contractor of APS for the scheme, however, is a foreign company, BPC was lacking local support. InteracTech Solutions was then hired to supply hardware, install and configure DataCard 280 P machine, where we faced quite a few troubleshooting challenges in the personalization of the card. Our team managed to complete the system's configurations, connectivity, and test printing before the inauguration of the card ceremony.
