Bios (a basic input-operating system) and UEFI (unified extensible firmware interface) are programs that contain communication protocols between different ICs. And have hardware initialization processes to start a Computer system safely. It also manages power flow to many parts of the Logic Board. Senses temperature and detects peripherals. It runs when we plug in the power till we run different tasks in our OS. It continuously provides information about hardware to OS as well. It is a program that connects hardware to hardware and software as well. That is why it is also called “Firmware.”
