Wanting to stray from typical public ad campaigns, Melbourneās Metro Trains used a catchy song and video to deliver a serious message to the public. The video featured a song with hilarious lyrics about dumb ways to die including getting hit by a train.
The song was uploaded to Youtube and iTunes which gained global popularity. They also launched a mobile game which became the top iPhone app in 53 markets and the top iPad app in 81 countries.
