🚨 Important update for UAE construction businesses on eInvoicing compliance

The UAE Ministry of Finance has announced targeted amendments to the ministerial decisions governing the eInvoicing system, including an extension of the deadline for appointing an Accredited Service Provider (ASP).

📅 New ASP appointment deadline: 30 October 2026
(previously 31 July 2026)

This update applies to businesses subject to the eInvoicing system with annual revenues exceeding AED 50 million and has been introduced through amendments to Ministerial Decision No. 244 of 2025.

The mandatory implementation timeline for eInvoicing remains unchanged.
For companies in the construction sector, this extension provides additional time to:

✔️ Select the right Accredited Service Provider
✔️ Prepare finance and procurement workflows for compliance
