A client called me last year from Al Quoz. Lost AED 80K in stock. No robbery. No break-in.

Turns out the issue was internal — inventory slipping through the cracks during shift changes.

We put in a CCTV setup with remote access. He could monitor live from his phone. Within two weeks, the whole picture was clear.

People think CCTV is just about crime. It's not. It's about knowing what's actually happening in your business when you're not there.

Half the business owners I meet in Dubai don't realize this until something already went wrong.

What's a tech myth you've fallen for? Would love to hear it.

Honestly, I never thought printer repair would be one of the busiest parts of what we do at IT Fort.

But here we are.

A client in Business Bay rang us last week — full panic mode. Printer down, board meeting in 20 minutes, documents needed physical signatures.

We got there fast, fixed it on-site, and they made the meeting.

It sounds like a small thing. But in that moment, it was everything.

Small businesses in Dubai can't afford downtime — even from something as 'basic' as a printer.

Have you ever had a tech breakdown at the worst possible time? What happened?

Honest question for business owners in Dubai — how are you actually tracking your leads right now?

I had a client in Business Bay last week. Three salespeople. Four different spreadsheets. One lost deal because nobody remembered to follow up.

It happens more than people admit.

A CRM isn't complicated software. It's just one place where your whole team sees every lead, every note, every next step.

No more 'I thought YOU called them back.'

So tell me — which one are you?

A) Spreadsheets
B) WhatsApp messages
C) I just remember everything (legend)

Before you spend a single dirham on a chatbot, hear me out.

I've set these up for businesses across Dubai — from JLT startups to DIFC firms. And the same mistakes keep happening.

So here's what I tell every new client:

1. Start with the 10 questions your team answers on WhatsApp every single day. That's your chatbot script.

2. A bot that says 'let me get a human for you' actually builds trust. Overconfident bots lose customers.

3. Going live is fast. Getting the words right is the slow part — don't skip it.

Which one would've helped you most? Drop it below.

Had a client in Al Quoz come to us frustrated. He had CCTV cameras installed — spent decent money on them. But nothing was set up properly. No remote access, no motion alerts, footage was just sitting there doing nothing.

Honestly, I see this more than I should.

We sorted out the configuration, set up remote monitoring on his phone. Now he's watching his store live from Business Bay during meetings.

Theft went down. His team started showing up on time.

Same cameras he already had. Just actually working the way they should.

How many businesses do you think have CCTV that's basically decorative? What do you think?

So I was meeting a client in JLT last week — trading company, decent size.

I asked what takes up most of their day. The ops manager said, 'Honestly? Copying stuff from emails into spreadsheets. Like 3 hours a day.'

That hurt to hear.

We set them up with an AI tool that reads the emails and pulls the data automatically. No human touching it.

Now that same task takes 11 minutes.

She literally said 'I finally feel like I'm doing my actual job.'

Anyone else still stuck doing things manually that a tool could handle? What do you think?

Stop believing this about printer repair: that replacing is always the smarter move.

True story — client in Al Quoz, their HP LaserJet broke down mid-week. Staff printing invoices by hand. Chaos.

They called us instead of heading to the shop. Good call.

My team was there within hours. Fixed it in 90 minutes flat. Bill? AED 250.

A new printer would've cost them AED 1,800.

That's a real saving for a small business. Not a small thing.

What's a tech myth you've fallen for? Drop it below — I read every comment.

Real story from last week.

A small business owner in Business Bay calls us at 8am in a panic. Printer completely dead. He's got signed contracts to print before a 10am client meeting.

No IT guy on staff. No backup printer. Nothing.

My team drove out, diagnosed it, fixed it on-site. He made his meeting.

This is what printer repair actually means for a small business — it's not about the machine. It's about not losing the deal.

Have you ever had a printer kill your plans at the worst possible time? What did you do?

Honest question for anyone running a business in Dubai...

I was talking to a business owner in Business Bay last month. His team was spending 3 hours every single day just answering the same WhatsApp messages from customers.

Same 10 questions. Different people. Every day.

We set up a chatbot. Problem solved in a week.

But I'm curious — what's actually eating most of your time right now?

A) Answering the same customer questions on repeat
B) Chasing leads that never respond
C) Handling bookings and appointments manually
