Quick question — when your office printer breaks, what's the first thing you do?

Most people just order a new one. Big mistake.

3 things I tell every new client about printer repair:

1. Most issues are a clogged printhead or bad driver — not broken hardware.

2. Repairing is almost always 3x cheaper than replacing.

3. If it goes offline every Monday morning, it's a network settings issue — not the printer itself.

We fix printers for businesses all over Al Quoz and Business Bay, and these three issues cover 90% of what we see.

Honest question — how are you tracking your customers right now?

I've been meeting a lot of small business owners across Business Bay and JLT this year. And almost every single one is doing the same thing — managing their entire customer pipeline on WhatsApp and Excel.

I get it. It works. Until it doesn't.

Deals go cold because someone forgot to follow up. Two team members call the same lead. A hot prospect from three months ago? Gone — buried in a chat.

A CRM just puts everything in one place. That's it. No chaos.

What are you using to manage your customers right now?

This one hit close to home.

A retail client in JLT told me they were losing inquiries every night — just because no one was online after 6pm. WhatsApp messages sitting there unanswered. Customers going elsewhere.

We set up a chatbot for them. Nothing crazy. It answered common questions, grabbed contact details, and scheduled appointments automatically.

30 days later — 3x more leads captured after hours. Same staff, same budget.

Sometimes the problem isn't big. The fix just needs to happen.

Stop believing this about AI Tools: that it's too expensive or too complex for small businesses.

I worked with a small trading company in JLT recently. Just 6 people. They were manually handling customer inquiries for 3 hours every single day.

We set them up with an AI tool — nothing fancy, nothing over-engineered.

Within days, their response time was under 2 minutes. They didn't hire anyone new. Just stopped wasting time.

Honestly, smaller teams feel the impact more because every hour saved actually matters.

You ever walk into your own business and wonder what actually happened while you were gone? 🤔

I did. Then I got a proper CCTV setup installed.

Not just cameras in corners collecting dust. I'm talking strategic placement, remote viewing from my phone, and footage that actually holds up when something goes wrong.

The peace of mind alone was worth it. But it also changed how my team operates — people work differently when accountability is visible.

If you're still running on blind trust alone, it might be time to reconsider. What do you think?

Running a business in Dubai and thinking about CCTV? Here's what I actually tell my clients before they spend a dirham:

1. One camera in the right spot beats five in the wrong ones.

2. Remote access from your phone — this isn't optional, it's how you'll check on things at 11pm.

3. The blind spots in your space are exactly where problems happen. I've seen it too many times in warehouses around Al Quoz and Business Bay.

Do a walkthrough before you decide anything.

Real story — a client in Al Quoz called us in a panic last month. Their printer died right before they needed to print contracts for a meeting.

No IT support on-site. Nobody knew what to do.

We got there, diagnosed it, had it running within the hour.

They made their meeting. Deal didn't fall apart.

I think a lot of small businesses in Dubai overlook how much a basic hardware failure can cost them in real time — not just repair costs, but lost momentum.

So we were working with a restaurant group in JLT last month. Good food, great location — but they had a real problem.

Customers were messaging on WhatsApp at 10, 11pm asking about reservations. One staff member was handling everything manually. Replies were slow. Customers went somewhere else.

We set up a chatbot for them. It handled bookings, answered menu questions, even flagged complaints to the right person.

30 days later — response time under 2 minutes, bookings up 40%, and their team actually got their evenings back.

Not magic. Just the right setup.

Stop believing this about AI tools: they're too expensive for small businesses.

I had a client running a retail shop in Al Quoz. Great business, good team — but they were drowning in WhatsApp messages. Same questions, every single day. "What time do you open?" "Do you deliver?" Over and over.

We set up an AI chatbot for them. Nothing fancy. Nothing crazy expensive.

Within a week, their team stopped being a call center and started actually selling.

AI isn't a luxury anymore. It's just a smarter way to work.

Honest question — how are you currently tracking your clients and follow-ups?

Because most business owners I meet in Dubai are doing it through WhatsApp chats, sticky notes, or a very colorful Excel sheet.

Last month a guy from Business Bay came to us completely overwhelmed. 400 leads, no follow-up process, deals falling through the cracks every week.

We set up a CRM for his team. Simple, straightforward, nothing over-engineered.

A month later he messaged me — they closed deals they had forgotten about for months.

The leads were always there. The system just wasn't.

What do you think — is this something your business deals with too?
