VPS disk is not a file archive: What to move to Cloud Storage?

A VPS disk can fill up faster than expected. Backups, media files, logs, archives, and static assets slowly take space from the server - until the website or application starts working slower.

The VPS should run your project. It should not store everything around it.

What is better to move to cloud storage?
Backups
Keep backup copies outside the main server to reduce risk and save disk space.
Media files
Images, videos, and large documents can quickly overload VPS storage.
Logs
System and application logs are useful, but they should be rotated, compressed, or moved regularly.
Archives
Old project files, exports, and reports do not need to stay on the production server.
Static files
Assets that are requested often can be stored separately and delivered more efficiently.
