STL redefines Optical Connectivity with India’s first Hollow Core fibre cable for Data Centre networks.

STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited announced a significant breakthrough in optical communication with the launch of India’s first Hollow Core Fibre (HCF) cable. This innovation, from STL’s industry-leading R&D engine, is designed to meet the low-latency and high-bandwidth requirements of modern Data Centres, Hyperscalers, and High-Frequency transmission networks.

HFCL Limited Secures 5-Year OFC Supply Deal with Multi-National Corporation

HFCL has entered into a five year supply agreement with a global multinational corporation for the supply of high-quality, high-fibre-count Optical Fiber Cables (OFC), through its overseas wholly owned subsidiary.

The total potential value of the contract over its tenure is estimated at ~USD 1.10 billion (approximately USD One Billion One Hundred Million) equivalent to ~Rs 10,159 crore, based on prevailing selling prices of OFC products being supplied.

Homegrown telecom equipment maker HFCL has secured a major international contract worth around Rs 10,159 crore, marking one of the largest deals in the company’s history for the supply of optical fibre cables (OFC).
