A new attempt to produce a film from the Resident Evil horror game series!!

The latest film released in the Resident Evil series was in 2021, titled Welcome to Raccoon City, directed by Johannes Roberts. It aimed to stay true to the games, but unfortunately, it didn’t match the quality of the Capcom game series.

The upcoming film will be directed by Zach Cregger and will tell the original story of the video games, focusing on all its details. It will be categorized as a horror film and produced by PlayStation Productions, though the release date has not been confirmed yet.
