Technology should adapt to people’s needs, not the other way around. In urban infrastructure, a human-centered design leads to safer, more inclusive, and more effective public services.

The success of a smart city is not measured by how much technology it deploys. It is measured by how much better life becomes for the people who use it.

Every safe crossing begins with a smarter decision, and protecting pedestrians requires more than road markings and traffic signals.

Tatweer partnered with Abu Dhabi Mobility to study and design safer pedestrian crossings across Abu Dhabi region, combining road safety audits with advanced technologies to improve safety for both pedestrians and motorists.

Parking is more than finding available spaces.

It influences traffic flow, public transport, land use, economic activity, and the overall mobility experience within a city.

As Abu Dhabi continues to grow, effective parking management requires more than increasing parking capacity. It requires data-driven strategies that anticipate future demand, support changing mobility patterns, and optimize existing infrastructure.

Tatweer partnered with the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) to develop a comprehensive Parking Strategy Action Plan, combining field surveys, operational analysis, policy evaluation, and international best practices to support smarter parking management across the Emirate.

The result is a strategic roadmap designed to improve efficiency, reduce congestion, and prepare Abu Dhabi's parking ecosystem for the future of mobility.

Driving assessments are evolving.
The Smart Yard Test System (SYTS) transforms traditional yard testing into an AI-supported process that enhances examiner confidence while preserving human judgment.

With intelligent sensors, computer vision, and automated evidence capture, the system helps authorities:

• Improve assessment consistency
• Increase operational efficiency
• Strengthen transparency and auditability
• Build greater public trust in the licensing process

Technology should not replace expertise. It should strengthen it.

Every intersection tells a story.

Traffic patterns. Congestion. Driver behavior. Safety risks.

The challenge is turning that information into actionable intelligence before delays; incidents, or bottlenecks occur.

Tatweer's AI-Powered Intersection Monitoring System helps authorities move beyond traditional traffic monitoring by providing real-time visibility into intersection performance, traffic flow, and emerging risks.

Using artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and cloud-based platforms, the system supports safer roads, more efficient traffic operations, and data-driven decision-making.

Smarter mobility begins with understanding what is happening at every intersection, in real time.

Every vehicle carrying hazardous materials represents a critical responsibility.

For regulators, inspections must be accurate, consistent, and supported by reliable evidence, without slowing operations or compromising safety.

Tatweer's Vehicle Inspector System (VIS) helps authorities modernize hazardous materials inspections through AI-powered monitoring, mobile inspection tools, and centralized operational visibility.

The result is a smarter inspection process that improves compliance, strengthens governance, and supports safer roads.

Read how the Vehicle Inspector System is helping transform hazardous materials inspections.

The Challenge Every day, hazardous materials move across road networks to support essential industries and public services. Ensuring these vehicles comply with safety regulations is critical; not only for operational efficiency but also for protecting communities and the environment.

As cities grow and mobility networks become more connected, traffic infrastructure is expected to do more than keep vehicles moving.

It must support safety, reduce disruptions, enable real-time decision-making, and operate reliably across thousands of daily journeys.

This places increasing pressure on traffic signals and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), making their maintenance and lifecycle management more critical than ever.

Through our partnership with Abu Dhabi Mobility, Tatweer is supporting the rehabilitation, maintenance, and modernization of traffic signals and ITS field systems across Abu Dhabi and Al Dhafra Region.

Smart mobility depends on more than technology deployment. It depends on keeping critical infrastructure performing every day.

Electric vehicles are transforming the future of mobility.

But adoption depends more than charging stations; it depends on a connected, reliable, and user-friendly charging experience.

As part of Abu Dhabi Mobility's vision for sustainable transportation, Tatweer contributed to the deployment of a smart EV charging ecosystem that includes public charging infrastructure. Supported by Plug N Go, a mobile application which was recently launched to simplify every charging session.

From locating nearby chargers to starting a session, making secure payments, and tracking charging progress in real time, Plug N Go puts the entire charging experience in the hands of the driver.

Together, intelligent infrastructure and digital services are helping accelerate the transition toward cleaner, smarter mobility.
