🧠 You Can’t Google Your Way Out of Fundamentals
(And if you're trying that’s why you keep feeling lost.)
Let’s just call it out:
You’re stuck. Again.
You copy-pasted a solution off Stack Overflow… again.
It works, but you don’t really know why it works.
And next time?
Same bug. Same panic. Same Google search.
Same cycle. 🔁
You’re not progressing, you’re just surviving.
Here's the brutal truth:
You can’t keep skipping the hard stuff and expect to “figure it out later.”
You can't just rely on ChatGPT, Google, and Copilot forever.
If you don’t understand the fundamentals, you’ll always be a fragile dev.
What are we talking about?
Things you must master to build anything real:
✅ How the DOM works
✅ What an API actually does
✅ How variables, loops, and conditionals connect
✅ How this behaves in JavaScript
✅ What a database query is really doing
✅ Why state matters and how data flows in your app
✅ How functions actually return things , not just what the tutorial said
Because when something breaks, and it will…
If you don’t have the fundamentals, Google won’t save you.
🧨 What Happens When You Skip the Basics:
You get stuck in tutorial hell
You freeze when you have to build from scratch
You panic during interviews
You can’t explain your code
You constantly search “why is my button not working in React” for the 12th time
So What Should You Do?
✅ Stop jumping tutorials.
✅ Pick one concept at a time and break it until you get it.
✅ Build tiny, ugly projects that force you to use what you’ve learned.
✅ Don’t just copy code narrate it, refactor it, remix it.
✅ Ask why,n ot just how.
📌 Final Word:
Google is a great tool. But it’s not a substitute for understanding.
If you want to level up stop skipping the foundation.
