Giver Software is a Zambian Software Company which has developed four software packages (Point of Sale, Payroll, School Management and Church Treasury) which are being used by more than 60 clients as at April 2022. It allows users to:
1. Maintain the details of the products in store including their prices.
2. Enter the initial quantities of items in store (this is done once each product when start
ing to use IMPOS.
3. Capture the details of received items together with their quantities
4. Issue receipts when selling the items in store. IMPOS is able to print to any printer including to thermal printers, dot matrix printers and LaserJet printers
5. Capture the details about the disposal of items including their quantities.
6. Capture the details of missing items including the quantities after a stock take. Since the quantities are captured in every process that affects the items in store, the system is able to produce a report showing the number of items remaining in store at any time and the movement during an specified period. The system comes with various reports including:
1. A sales summary showing the quantities sold for each product and price and the cost those items for any period of time.
2. A cash statement giving a listing of receipts issued in any specified period.
3. A report showing the opening and closing inventory
We have as at end of March 2022, 7 clients using this product.
