Utywala remains the most famous consumable liquid and yet it has destroyed families, dreams, lives, unity, marriages, virginities, economy, jobs, dignity, luxury cars, homes and all the valuables and treasures that you may think of. Andaz Bafethu but ay man I think something needs to be fixed here. It sounded like a joke when someone “okuthiwa uyaphuza naye” asked “yini le esetshwaleni kanti?”. Thina we’re so brave that we even drink at the funeral of our BEST friend who died in a car accident “edakiwe”. Nathi sifike sidakwe emngcwabeni wakhe and drive back home 😳. We’ve witnessed unnecessary divorces and abafwethu going to prison for murder, assault, damage of property etc just because they were drunk, really?🤷🏽‍♂️. Ay Bafethu ngeke. Ladies even give up their precious bodies just because abafana are buying them booze 🍸 what a hell? There are sons and daughters who were disowned by their parents ngenxa yokuthi they choose alcohol over everything and everyone. Kanti iphi ingxak bafwethu.
We’re a generation that cannot think straight, a generation that can not be involved in decision making. Phela you can’t be involved in sensitive decisions when you’re not sober.

Sharing.....
No matter how long it lives, the Greatest Lion will eventually die miserably. That's the world! They may die young from injuries they sustained while defending their Pride. They may die old, enfeebled by age. At their Peak, they rule, chase other animals, catch, devour, gulp and leave their crumbs for hyenas. But age comes fast.
The old Lion can't hunt, can't kill or defend itself. It roams and roars until it runs out of luck. It will be cornered by the hyenas, nibbled at and eaten alive by them. They won't even let it die before it is dismembered.
Life is short. Power is ephemeral. I have seen it in lions. I have seen it in old people. Everyone who lives long enough will become very vulnerable at some point. Therefore, let us be humble. Help the sick, the weak, the vulnerable and most importantly never forget that we will leave the stage one day.😢😢
