Hello, I’m Anke-Mari and I am a Cape Town-based creative utilising my practice to address modernity. In 2016, I shelved my lab coat to pursue a career in the arts. This shift did, however, not cause me to abandon science. By means of art and design, I map my curiosities. To make is to question, to seek, to find, to think, to see, to understand, to feel, to appreciate, and to share. In essence, it is a means of living. My mission is to create collaborative and contemplative spaces where speculation, transformation and imagination are encouraged - and critical dialogue is cultivated.
