Meta's "AI Content" label. How it's supposed to work vs how its actually playing out.🧐

On paper: heavily manipulated or fully AI generated content is meant to get the label. The official policy text says minor edits shouldn't trigger a label...

BUT PRETTY MUCH EVERY TOOL USED TO CREATE CONTENT NOW HAS AI IN IT AND WE ARE UTULISING THE FEATURES TO MAKE OUR LIVES EASIER.

In practice: Creators and businesses (Myself included) are seeing minor edits gets flagged/labelled anyway... So even if you are creating your content yourself and making edits or tweaks using in-app features such as background remover, autocaption, magic grab, filters & effects; your post could possibly also be listed as AI content.

My stance: AI is a tool, not a replacement. I'll keep using it to support my process, not run it. And if Meta slaps a label on something along the way, no biggie. I trust my work to still speak for itself.
