If any one of you have kept up with Game Bigot, you might be familiar with the fact that when we initially started out in early 2014, we had all our plans sorted out. Game Bigot wasn't created to play second fiddle to anyone out there. From the very start, we had our eyes set firm on competing with the big-league websites.
Despite investing capital and pouring several hours into the website, the results were very discouraging. However, we thought that all we needed to do is to hang in there. In July of this year, the GB staff discussed on what was becoming of our brand and reached the conclusion that despite putting our heart and soul into our work, we were hardly making any progress.
In August, the website was taken down for 'brand restructuring'. What we wanted from it was to polish our social counterparts and make a website that was second to none. These plans, as it turns out, were more expensive than we'd initially thought them to be and we were unable to shell out the money required for the project.
As a direct consequence, I inevitably reached the conclusion that there was no point in having Game Bigot unless it was the best in quality and design, a promise that we'd made to you in February itself.
Therefore, it is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that for the time being, Game Bigot will be disintegrating and dissolving. It wasn't easy to arrive at this decision but I'm sure that we'll be back stronger than ever. This isn't goodbye forever, it is just a farewell for the time being.
Our social counterparts (Facebook, Twitter) will continue to exist and our website landing page will be replaced by a nifty banner that'll help you keep us in your good memories.
I'd like to thank all of you who stood by us in both good and hard times. We hope that we can come back stronger and deliver on the promises that we'd made to you when we first started out. Good Day! :)
