My daughter's latest craft project was painting rocks to look like ladybugs and bumble bees and then adding eyes. They had a blast! What are some fun art/craft projects you have done with the kids this summer?

Well, my tent didn't survive last night's strom but I am still here at the Farmington Festival until 8pm tonight and 10am-8pm tomorrow. Another beautiful day with lots of fun things to do. If you are looking for some family fun there is face painting, bouncers, games, and crafts. Stop by to say hi and see the pirate rocking chair I am currently working on.

Out at the Farmington Founder's Festival in Downtown Farmington today, Friday, and Saturday from 10-8pm. Come out and check out all the local vendors. Have you been wondering what to do with your creative little ones broken crayons in their art supply box? Package them up and send them to the crayon recycling program, which is helping to keep 52,000 lbs of crayons out of the landfills. They will then be recycled into new crayons. Also, if you send a email to Luann at Crazy Crayons she will send you a free coloring page.
