Apparently a large number of Facebook accounts have gotten hacked in the past few days. I'd recommend the following:
1. Go into facebook settings (its in the little down arrow next to the ? at the top of the page). Now look to the left, and select SECURITY AND LOGIN. On that page will be a list of devices and locations your account has been logged in from. If you dont recognize one or more of them, you may be compromised.
2. Even if you haven't been compromised, but especially if you have, change your password. (its next on the list right below)
3. Consider using two factor authentication (where facebook sends a text message to your mobile phone when you want to log in, or generates the numbers on your phone if facebook is installed there.) A much more secure way of staying much more secure.
