ANTIQUE ARCHAEOLOGY – THE WILD RIDE

ANTIQUE ARCHAEOLOGY is a bold and energetic illustration inspired by the vintage cartoon style of Tex Avery. It features a bearded wolf with a wild look, mouth wide open, tongue hanging out, and sharp, jagged teeth forming a mischievous grin. His biker persona is emphasized by a motorcycle helmet adorned with stickers paying tribute to the legendary Indian Motorcycles, with a pair of goggles securely fastened on top. In a dynamic stance, he grips a handlebar tightly, symbolizing the adrenaline and freedom of motorcycle racing. The entire composition is framed by two stylized banners: "ANTIQUE" at the top and "ARCHAEOLOGY" at the bottom, both pierced by an arrow—an extra nod to the Native American heritage of the iconic Indian brand. With its vibrant color palette and expressive linework, this design bursts with raw energy and vintage cartoon dynamism, paying homage to the icons of motorcycling and the timeless aesthetic of classic animation.

NASHVILLE TENNESSEE

Dive into the wild and high-octane world of NASHVILLE TENNESSEE, an illustration that pays tribute to the rock ‘n’ roll and mechanical spirit of this legendary southern city. At the heart of this electrifying design, a wolf with an over-the-top Tex Avery cartoon style leaps forward with a crazed expression, razor-sharp teeth, and an oversized tongue hanging wildly from its jaws.

In the background, a roaring INDIAN motorcycle engine and a massive piston highlight Nashville’s deep-rooted biker culture and love for raw power. Framed within a bold, circular badge, this piece bursts with vibrant hues of orange, red, and blue, radiating pure adrenaline and energy.

I'm currently collaborating with Universal Studios to create merchandise for their "Monsters" collection. The illustration I'm unveiling today is inspired by the classic 1932 film "The Mummy" featuring the unforgettable Boris Karloff in the title role. I've chosen to capture the iconic pose of the mummy resting in its sarcophagus, an image that I hope will resonate with all the fans of the genre. This project is especially close to my heart as it is part of a larger collection that pays homage to the icons of classic horror cinema. I'm also working on several other illustrations that will be included in this MONSTERS collection, so stay tuned!

Illustration for Universal Studios: King Kong Reimagined in Rockabilly Style :

I'm excited to share one of my latest creations, commissioned by Universal Studios, featuring a unique take on King Kong. This time, the iconic giant ape gets a rockabilly makeover, complete with a slick pompadour and sideburns, giving him a retro vibe that's hard to miss.

For this illustration, I chose dark blue tones, contrasted with a vibrant vermillion to add energy and depth. The design is framed by bold lettering spelling out "KING KONG", with the tagline "Let's go ape" in smaller text. Surrounding the design are stars that subtly evoke the American flag, a nod to the character's cinematic roots.

King Kong is depicted in a three-quarter view, standing stoic and massive, emphasizing his strength and presence. It was a real pleasure to be commissioned for this unique project, blending pop culture with vintage aesthetics.

I am pleased to present to you the black and white version of this illustration. It is a representation of the iconic character from the 1933 film "The Invisible Man" - Universal Studios.

The Invisible Man is an American film directed by James Whale, released on November 13, 1933. This film is adapted from the 1897 novel The Invisible Man by H. G. Wells. The film is part of the Universal Monsters series. The film's success made Claude Rains very popular. A sequel, The Invisible Man Returns, was released in 1940.

"Dr. Jack Griffin is a scientist who has invented a substance that makes people invisible. But after trying it on himself, he finds himself in a state of invisibility from which he cannot emerge, despite his efforts to create an antidote. Since the substance also has a harmful effect on the mind, his naturally amiable character has become extremely aggressive..."

American Graffiti : A Retro Visual Tribute

This illustration inspired by American Graffiti, George Lucas's classic film, captures the essence of 1960s America. At the center is the iconic yellow Hot Rod, symbolizing freedom and rebellion, evoking the spirit of youth and street racing.

The vibrant neon typography recalls the bright lights of diners and drive-ins, with a nod to Mels Drive-In, the film's central meeting spot. A couple is also depicted, representing the love and human connections at the heart of this timeless story.

With its retro-vintage style, this illustration celebrates the unique aesthetic and atmosphere of a cult film, inviting fans to relive an era where cars and music defined a generation.

Good Morning !!!

Hey there, all you Betty Cool and Pulp Fiction fans! Today, I'm thrilled to unveil my latest illustration, which celebrates cinema icon Mia Wallace through the lens of our beloved heroine, Betty Cool.

In this brand-new addition to the "Betty Cool" series, I envisioned our heroine stepping into the iconic role of Mia Wallace, the femme fatale portrayed by Uma Thurman in Quentin Tarantino's cult classic, Pulp Fiction. You know, that unforgettable scene where Mia dances with Vincent Vega at Jack Rabbit Slim's, the retro diner where legends of the past seem to come alive.

By revisiting this legendary moment in cinema, I aimed to capture the energy and unique style of Mia Wallace while infusing it with the attitude and charisma that define Betty Cool. The result? A dazzling fusion of two cinematic worlds, where timeless class meets modern cool.

For me, creating this illustration was more than just an artistic exercise. It was a way to pay homage to a film that has profoundly shaped the cinematic landscape while breathing new life into my favorite character. I hope this illustration resonates with you as much as it inspired me to create it.

Feel free to share your reactions and memories related to Pulp Fiction and Betty Cool in the comments. And stay tuned for more adventures featuring our favorite heroine !!! 😎⚡👍
