Nigel works with non-profits and small companies with whom he shares similar values. He's learned that effective, engaging communication is the result of compassion, empathy, and intelligent thinking, which results in a meaningful connection with people. He serves small businesses and non-profits by creating marketing and communication collateral for print and online applications, including logos,
posters, annual reports, advertisements, websites, plus social media graphics and messages. Among the many clients who have benefited from his experience are The Terry Fox Foundation (as well as voluntary contributions to the Wilmot Terry Fox Run), Supportive Housing of Waterloo, Family & Children’s Services WR, Women's Crisis Services of Waterloo Region and 100 Women Who Care: Wilmot. (Hons) in Graphic Design from the London College of Printing, one of the foremost art colleges in the U.K., followed by 35 years as an industry professional. Using a wide range of skills and his many years of expertise, he brings clarity to complex communication issues and that help to build lasting relationships. He was born in London, England, and he's been based in Waterloo region since he immigrated in 2007, where he and his wife - Cheryl Gordijk - have played an active role in their community by investing thousands of hours of their time as volunteers.
