I apologize for the long delay. I didn't realize that I had been absent for quite so long. So here's a status update:
Over the past three years I haven't had the time to work on Due Today that I used to. This is in part due to two deaths in the family, changing work conditions (Lakeridge is only my side job, not my full-time job), family time and other various items. Also, due to an issue with the Windows client a rewrite has been necessary.
So, right now the plan is an update to both the Windows and Android client coming this fall. I've learned the hard way that I can't post release dates because I keep missing them. However, with the changes that I've been making it will be easier for me to release more frequent updates once the new versions have been sent out.
One last thing. I know people are going to be concerned about pricing. I'm going to make this right by everyone. While the Android version will be version 3.0 and the Windows version will be version 2.0, these will be FREE upgrades to all registered users. All bug fix versions will then be free.
Then, each year I will release a new major version for both Android and Windows (and any other platform I am finally able to develop for). These upgrades will not be free. However, you will NOT be forced to upgrade to the newer versions if you don't want to. So it will not be a subscription service and you can keep what version you bought indefinitely, though I can't say it will always have the sync capabilities as ToodleDo and Due Today's sync system may be updated over time. But I'll do my best to minimize the impact such changes have.
Again, I'm really sorry about the length of time since the last release
