Cards By Suze - greetings cards Unique & funny cards printed from my hand-drawn cartoon style artwork. I'm based in Mansfield, Notts. I do not use stencils. All images are drawn freehand by me.

www.smoothduo.co.uk but since childhood I have been a doodler & during covid lockdowns I decided to print some of my drawings in greeting card form for people who like something a bit different. I use a good old fashioned HB 2 pencil

to sketch my ideas onto cartridge paper & also use an eraser & keep trying until I get it just right. I then use a fine black outliner pen before I add colour. The picture is then scanned into my computer. I can then add text & have the finished design printed onto cards. I draw new designs all the time & only print a small amount of each one to make them more special. Gift tags are hand drawn directly onto the card or wooden tag so each one of them is unique. Gift tags are only available to buy from me in person at artisan/craft events. I live on the border of Nottinghamshire&Derbyshire and attend artisan markets/craft events in the East Midlands.

SOCIAL SATURDAYS ARE COMING TO Pleasley Pit Trust
Starting Saturday 20th June! They are opening their doors to support local small businesses with this brand new initiative.
Every Saturday, there will be local small businesses showcasing and selling their products, giving new and growing businesses the chance to build an audience, spread the word, and connect with the community.
I will be there Sat 20th June from 9.30am selling my unique greeting cards with funny slogans. When you visit Pleasley Pit Trust Visitor's Centre tomorrow, come along to my stall and say hello. I might just have the perfect card for someone.

There's a monthly arts, crafts & makers market in Woodhouse, did you know? Details of the summer ones below. A mix of hand crafted goodies available to buy. Please pop in for gift ideas or a treat for yourself. We also have plants, haberdashery (stuff for your own crafting ,) cakes and jams, chutneys, pickles etc....and the stables cafe will be open.
