🩷🖤 FROM THE HEART 🖤🩷

Time to wrap up my Business of 17 years. Got offered a job … I said YES! And I start tomorrow 😁🤞

Running my own business has given me flexibility for my children (which was so important to me). Built up from a £100 bet to a Multi Award Winning Business. And I’m so bluddy proud of that! Met hundreds of amazing people along the way (many of which are now lifelong friends)! But it’s now my time to move on.

How ironic my first ever wedding order was my own … and my final wedding EVER will be my beautiful daughters 🥰

Now - Janette PA to Director of the EA. A little piece of me will always be Silver Birch though 😘 Love ya’s and thank you for everything xx

Celebrating my 18th Wedding Anniversary today. It’s always a bit strange working in the Industry and then remembering back to our wedding day. Would I have done things differently? Colours? Venue? Guest list? Obvs not a different husband though 😆

I don’t think I would have changed anything. Make sure your day is exactly as you want it and something you can look back on over the years with only love in your heart ❤️

POLITE POSITIVE POST

This has not been an easy decision but we have moved out of our design studio. I have had many many happy years there but felt it was time to re-evaluate and do what felt right for us. Our doors officially closed on the 31st March.

We WILL NOT be giving up weddings! Silver Birch still exists! But we will be 'online only'. Working on developing a new and exciting website to work alongside our Etsy Shop which we have enjoyed growing. .... loads!

I am so passionate about my business and that has never changed. It is just heading in a new direction 🥰

Our customers will still receive the same level of care and attention we have given over the last 17 years. It may mean via Zoom, but at least you get away with me not hugging you (one of my many traits .... some loved it, some were left looking terrified haha).

Special thanks to Sarah Thew Photography for putting up with me, we will miss you girls! And super special thanks to Sara Kitchener Sara's Kitchen who i've had so many laughs, tears, emotional rollercoasters, upheavals, excitement with. Nobody would believe the stories we could share! Love ya Sara you've been my work wife for what seems like FOREVER xx
