Taking ADJ’s best-selling Vizi Beam RXONE to the next level, the new Vizi Beam RX2 is a a compact and quick moving head beam fixture. Powered by a potent 100W Osram Sirius HRI discharge lamp with a 6,000-hour lifespan, this dynamic fixture delivers stunning aerial effects with a precise 2-degree beam angle. High speed 3-phase pan/tilt motors allow lightning fast movement while a rich collection of beam-shaping features deliver maximum creativity. It offers a 14-color dichroic wheel that includes CTO (3200K), CTB (4500K & 9000K) & UV filters, 15 static GOBOs + open (including 3 beam reducers), two rotating prisms (16-facet circular & 6-facet linear) that can be overlaid, motorized focus and a frost effect. In addition, the fixture is equipped with ADJ’s new Aria X2 wireless technology, allowing wireless DMX control as well as remove fixture management via Bluetooth using a dedicated app.

NEP Australia expands its IP and remote production capabilities with first install of Calrec Audio Argo consoles

NEP Australia, a division of NEP Group and a prominent provider of remote production services is bolstering its remote production, IP-enabled Andrews Hubs in Sydney and Melbourne.

The expansion includes the opening of three new production suites in Sydney — production suites Five, Six and Seven. Within each of these audio control rooms, NEP has installed a Calrec Argo console, which significantly expands the company’s remote production resources.

The Argos are primarily being used for mixing National Rugby League games alongside a variety of other top-tier sports productions.
