It’s finally October, my favorite month of the year! 🎃

Not only do I love the chilly weather and all things fall and Halloween, but it’s also my birthday month! I plan to keep celebrations low key with a trip to the book store, my favorite cafe and a get together with my friends 🤎

I also love creating funny and cozy content for my clients this time of year. 🍂 What fall content are you incorporating into your feed this October?

Listen up. I only have experience as a freelance social media jill of all trades, however, I have friends in every industry and see this problem for ALL of us.

It always starts the same. Someone inquires about your services, you send them pricing, it’s more expensive than they anticipated and they immediately want to negotiate you down. It’s the WORST.

Everyone has a budget, I get it… but service providers have bills to pay to, y’all.

So this is my message to all of my 1099 friends: their budget does NOT define your worth.

Now, I will say, there have been several occasions where I saw value in the experience I was gaining and agreed to work for less, however, working for less means needing to take on too many clients, which often leads to burnout (I know from experience 🤪)

So this is just a reminder to protect your peace, set your boundaries and choose who you work with VERY wisely. 💖

My clients are so lucky 😌 happy fall y’all! 🎃🍂

I don’t get to post as much as I’d like to these days because I’m pouring all of my creative energy into my clients. (Is that healthy? Probably not, but alas)

When I DO get to post, I see the same people show up over and over again. That means a lot to me and I just wanted to share my gratitude.

Thank you 🖤

Anywhere and everywhere 🤪

I love what I do because I work around the clock BUT I get to work from wherever I want and that is my version of freedom 💖

Guys - I haven’t taken two weeks off in a MINUTE but I am DROWNING in client work and it’s only going to get crazier as we are officially in the “ber” months 😮‍💨 (pray for me) 💖

I hate to be the one to tell you… but Christmas is practically tomorrow 🤪

What Black Friday deals are you planning?

One thing I love about working in multiple industries is seeing how different brands decide to tackle the chaos that is holiday season. Every day is different and it makes my job so fun 💖
