OUT NOW: I was honored to design the cover for latest novel, “Runnin’ with the Devil”- a coming of age story of s*x, drugs, rock-n-roll and high school cross country all set in 1980s Michigan. It’s a fun read so go pick yourself up a copy.
And be sure to check out Ben’s previous rock-n-roll trilogy: , “Sunset Trip” “Heartworm” and “Wivenhoe Park” - all 3 are great.

Recent cover artwork I did for .falling.out ‘s new 8 song cassette “Don’t” (on ) The tunes sounds like The Raveonettes on a double date with The Cramps, perfect for fans of fuzzed out Phil Spector style 60s garage rock.
The cassette drops this Friday, January 30th, with the release party taking place at Bar in Philly that same night. Mighty Joe Castro and are on the bill as well as and (swipe for details)
Too modern for this weird little cassette revival? Not down for analog sound? No worries- the EP will be available for download via Bandcamp as well. Happy listening.

1 of 2 collages I created for new book project “Two Pieces of Paper: A Thousand Words Say a Picture.” I’ve had a sneak peek at the full layout, which features work from 48 different artists from around the world, and it looks fantastic. Congratulations to Phil Scott as well as all the other artists involved. I’m honored to be a part of it.
Phil Scott on Two Pieces of Paper: “A wide range of multidisciplinary artists were invited to take part in the project, with a simple instruction: each artist was asked to submit two images that, when placed together, create a visual conversation - exploring narrative, juxtaposition or sequence without the use of text.”

“Someday at Christmas (what a wonderful world)”
Happy Holidays friends ❤️🎄
If you’ve caught one of my recent live shows, either solo or with , then you may have heard me cover this tune. With the current state of the world and the dark undercurrent of anxiety that runs deep here in the United States, I believe the message of hope within this song is needed now as much as ever.
Most folks are familiar with “Someday at Christmas” from the classic Stevie Wonder recording—which I love—but this rendition owes a great debt to the version by Jack Johnson who simplified the arrangement for acoustic guitar, eliminating all the upward moving key changes that Stevie used to great effect, but which are much too tricky for me to pull off on on the guitar.
I took some liberties with the lyrics, modifying a few lines here and there, as well as adding a middle section from the Louis Armstrong classic What a Wonderful World.
I hope you dig it. And if you do, feel free to share it with a friend.
